PRODUCTION 1/Practice task A-Interview practice shots

Here is a video compilation of different clips of practice interview shots, I didn’t have anyone to film with so I tried to get my dog Vader to help me.

In the first shot I tried to get a side angle of Vader sitting in the chair however when reviewing the footage the camera was up too high and he was half out of frame.

The second was a direct shot at him and the third was an attempted close up headshot. 

Obviously filming with my dog was a bit harder as Vader wouldn't stay still, however I think the overall message being showing some of the different interview shots there are is still passed effectively.

Next time I would try to position the camera better so the eye level is roughly 2/3 up the screen and make sure there is enough of the interviewee in frame and that they are not awkwardly half out the frame.
